Yesterday afternoon while in the kitchen, I happened to pick up and re-read the Christmas card that sits on top of the microwave. It was from my sister and sits where it does because I like the painting of snow covered horses on its front. Anyway, 10 minutes later my sister calls to tell me my Christmas parcel was finally in the mail. I told her I was just reading her card again and we both had a laugh. I was apparently reading the card just as she was in the post office. She called me as she was leaving the parking lot.
So, later that night I was online learning how to do what is sometimes called an Asian Squat. It's a resting yoga-like squat position and usually takes some technique and practice. After watching a handful of videos on the subject I noticed it was after midnight. Well the latest Wordle game comes online at 12AM so off I go to play it like I do most every night. I guessed the word and had another laugh. The word was SQUAT. Gotta love dem cosmic coincidences! I don't get many so it was a qualified fun day. Anyone else here with maybe a favorite odd coincidence? |

Oh that’s just amazing! I love your stories
Mine isn’t as profound as yours because it’s due to algorithms. I bought a set of nails stickers on my work laptop using my work wifi. 4 hours later at home using my iPhone and home wifi I see an ad for the company on my Facebook. I’ve never even heard of that company before - a lady at my work told me about them. |

It was the acclaimed psychologist Carl Jung, I think, who coined the term 'synchronicity' to describe these meaningful more personal kinds of coincidences. He obviously felt they were significant in some way.

I don't associate any meaning to coincidences myself...I just love them for what they are. Rare little instances that hopefully have a little "Oho! Well wouldja imagine that!" mixed into 'em.
