My brother gave me some jelly babies from Japan, they are a little different than in America but they're so yummy!

I thought they were just the UK name for jelly beans.

Whoa, I'm way wrong. They're like gummy bears made with jelly and have British accents :P
My bad. |

I was first introduced to jelly babies back in the dark ages when Tom Baker was Dr. Who. Didn't get to actually taste them until I went to Ireland. (Yes, I know the Republic is not part of the UK, but they sell jelly babies.) I like them so much I stocked up on them, then rationed them to myself when I got home.
Lark and MD, the jelly babies I'm talking about are not jelly beans. They are baby shaped candy and are kind of like gummy bears, but taste way, WAY better. edit to add - a quick check of Amazon shows they sell jelly babies from England. I'm torn. I'm craving the blasted things after talking about them, but the price is outlandish! Gotta decide how much I'm craving before I order. |

They often carry a lot of European candy at international markets for the same price as they would in Europe. I've gotten yogurt Oreos from the Asian market and green onion Cheetos from the polish store among other things. My most recent find was turkey leg flavored Cheetos and cranberry Chips Ahoy cookies
