On Friday I am walking across the stage to receive my degree!
I am receiving my Associates of Transfer, which means if I decide to go to a university, I'll go in as a junior. I will be graduating with honors. I've taken many pre-reqs for the medical field, particularly nursing. I am not sure which direction I want to go. I am currently working for a hospital, and I am really enjoying my job. I've been encouraged by one of my coworkers to pursue being an ultrasound tech, and a life long dream of mine is to work in geriatrics. I am definitely a school nerd and will be so sad that this chapter of my life is over, but I have had so many wonderful memories and experiences. |

Congratulations!!!! Awesome accomplishment.
I’d say ultrasound tech or any other radiology tech is a great choice of a career. Of course nursing is an option and RN is paid way more, but also way more stress than any of those tech jobs. You could get nursing license and specialize in geriatrics and work in long term/nursing homes etc all good choices!!!!! |
