How many of you are parents and have had kids grow up and leave the home?

We are moving my daughter to school tomorrow and she will be on her own (mostly) for the first time in her life. I'm happy, sad, proud, and nervous.

Tomorrow is not going to be an easy day. I have no idea where the time went.

I have three grown kids. Congratulations to you for doing a great job to help her get to this exciting point!

Congratulations! We have 3 adults daughters. One mine two my husband’s. Two grandkids.

Time flies isn’t? My grandson is 16 months but sometimes I think my daughter was 16 months just yesterday! And she is 35! When did this happened?

Thank you, TB. We are mega-proud of her and it was an honor watching her grow up through the years.

No doubt. I feel like I'm going to turn around and she'll be 30.

Hi Revenge. My oldest is away at college. Starting her second year. My younger daughter is a junior in HS, so she’ll be leaving me too in a couple years. I guess having them leave us is the reward for a job well done, even though it’s a reward that can make us feel sad. So congrats to you! Onward and upwards as they say. In the meantime we can look forward to visits.
