There will be a watch party downtown in my city, on a plaza. Frankly i am wary of such large gatherings anymore, due to the gun situation. The last total eclipse i watched at my job in the mid-90s, and the whole office building went out to the massive front lawn. That was pretty cool.

e I’m going over to my daughters. I bought ten pair of watch glasses. Only thing is we’re not in the zone. But we’ll be in the 80% zone. Still pretty cool.

I'll watch it online on NASA's channel. 😕 Better than nothing, I guess.

Niagara Falls Ontario has declared a state of emergency. A preemptive thing. Just to ensure all municipal safety and support elements are up and humming in case of problems. They're expecting up to a million visitors apparently?!! Wide berth advisable!

I'm over 1200 miles away from my family but we'll apparently share the same degree of totality. 98.7% Kinda neat. There's a site that'll tell you what exactly you'll see given what town or city you're in. I can't find the bloody thing now or I'd post the link.

Sounds pretty cool. I think it is like 20% for where I'm at. Not a big hullabaloo, but should be fun to see anyway. That BloodMoon thing years ago was pretty cool, I forgot how that went.

On March 2033 there'll be a total visible in the westernmost part of Alaska. Other than that sliver nothing on the continent until 2044. Alaska would be a pretty good trip though! Northern lights are best seen in early spring up there.

Hi and welcome to msf. NASA coverage. Yep, excellent option. They'll provide good commentary/info to boot I'd say. If it's particularly overcast here that's what I'll likely do for much of it.

I think it's spectacular. I'm in awe of the heavens and it's a pretty good reality check that we, as a people, are not the center of the universe.

It’s a big deal. I am not in totality zone but I am pretty close. We considered driving to totality zone but we think roads would be all full and crazy. We will try to watch partial eclipse by us if I take off work. I saw partial eclipse in 2017 and I have awesome pics. One is in my profile here. You can see moon covering part of the sun clearly.
There will be life video online too. I’ll watch that too |

I’ll be watching online. Just saw the news. My area will be cloudy with high chances of rain. Sooo… online it is.

X-ing fingers...seems weather will be spotty here too unfortunately. Thing is though it'll still be dark and an odd, eerie looking dark. That'll be a visual treat in itself.
