The law that there is no law. People already break all the laws, we’re just paying for some assholes to pretend they’re doing something about it (after the fact). Do people think “I shouldn’t drink and drive because it’s illegal”? Hell nah broski, they think “I shouldn’t drink and drive because I might flip my exploding car into a kindergarten” and then the others drink and drive regardless if the consequence is a stint in the hole or the guilt of taking another persons life. And those guys make driving on 89 at 2am an adrenaline rush.
Oh, I shot my husband? Okay, now I risk his sister shooting me. Making poor decisions should have equally poor consequences, not a roof over your head and secured food. When I had that assault charge should I have had the country pay for my expenses, or should the dude that I assaulted been in the right to react in whatever way he felt appropriate? Oh, I would hate that law. I live rural & no place close to any takeout, besides my own cooking is a real treat that I totally enjoy.
I personally would like to see many laws go awsy except for the basics tbat protect citizens. I don't like pointless laws rulling my life as I am a free spirit. __________________ Leo's favorite place was in the passenger seat of my truck. We went everywhere together like this. One law, you must treat your neighbors with respect and kindness. That pretty much takes care of all other laws.
And on my planet, I’d do what some countries have done. Make places where people can go to get all the drugs they want. Administered in a clean safe environment. It keeps them off the streets and out of the jails. __________________ Nammu …Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. I really wish littering was enforced. I see red when people use the world as their personal ashtray.

Stricter laws about drunk (or drugged) driving. They are too lenient in the US. People get their license back and go straight back to drinking and driving. The way it should be: you were stopped once, you go to prison and you never drive again. Too many children die because of drunk driving

This won't be popular but it's true...Detailed warning labels on things like alcohol and also on fatty/sugary foods because of widespread damage these things cause annually. For example on alcohol: "May cause serious road accident or cause adverse violent emotional reaction involving police." And on fatty/sugary food items: "May cause arteries to clog up as it is biggest annual killer of average human being." Sugar: "Will likely cause obesity threatening health even in what you think is moderation."

Very basically, a law born from a bipartisan agreement on some sort of ethics and morality 'behavioral assessment' that ALL hopeful politicians are required to go through. The applicants must meet certain standards before they can be permitted the responsibility of deciding on the well-being of others.
It's a nice fantasy anyway. |

That Internet access is considered a UTILITY, as essential as water, power and gas. It's a necessity, not a luxury, and has been for decades now. And available/affordable to ALL. (The word "affordable" is thrown around casually by the government, but it means something different to everyone) I and millions of others are losing the ACP because our STUPID, useless, out of touch Congress isn't going to fund it anymore.
Since the government wants everyone to do everything online, they need to make it accessible for EVERYONE, regardless of where they live or how much money they have. That being said, we need something/someone to oversee the government and the private sector! But I don't know who that would be. Oh, and if women/girls are forced to have babies they don't want/can't care for properly, men responsible ought to be required to support them in every way: Financially, emotionally, and mentally. And make those men get a vasectomy! There's plenty of unwanted babies and children as it is, waiting for adoption! __________________ Call me "owl" for short! The laws in MD regarding mental health and your safety are not fair at all. With even the slightest mention of considering death they will send you to the ER via the police in handcuffs and it's not fair. The State doesn't understand mental illness and it's my life and I can do what I please with my life. They don't understand the struggles I go thru every day.
I saw a terrible therapist several yrs ago and she didn't try to help me at all. Her first words were "I'm going to say things you're not going to like" (That's a great way to start off a therapeutic relationship.). And she would say odd things to me like "I see that you're mimicking my gestures". One day I told her I thought about death a lot (because sometimes that's what inspires me to try harder) and she called the police and sent me to the ER and I didn't tell the ER Dr. that I was suicidal because I didn't feel suicidal. Therapist emailed me and asked what happened and I told her I didn't say anything about suicide in the ER. Then a few hrs later I got an email from her supervisor which said "After consideration of your files we've decided to terminate your therapy". I will never go back to that place again. __________________ Forget the night...come live with us in forests of azure - Jim Morrison |

Every four years 100+ laws have to be revoked from the books as outdated- for feds, state, and local.
Currently living in the world can have you committing crimes that will only be brought up to control the masses via the powerful and elite. |

But seriously, about 20% of the US is in medical debt. And when they get aggressive for not getting the money back? Court. Because I guess if you can't afford to pay your medical bills, the logical solution is to sue the person... fcck man, instead of spending all your time and money going after me, just pay for my education to get in the healthcare industry and I'll give all money outside bare bottom living expenses back to ya. And I'll fccking come up with a treatment to get burn victim's to regrow their own skin from the afflicted area without any scarring or pigmentation changes. I'll fccking create a drug that make processed sugars and simple carbs taste disgusting so people want to eat healthier. I'll find a method that turns involuntary physiological responses into voluntary (within a nondeadly range). Manic and hypersexual? Follow these steps to not fcck your husband's sister and brother at the same time. Another law that should exist is that all young puppies should be screened to see if they'd be fit for being a service dog before being adopted. And all people looking to be pet owners should be tested to see if they can handle the pet and its temperament for the duration of the life expectancy of the pet. __________________ [Insert thought-provoking and comedic quote here] |
