Prior to the pandemic I would often spend my time off running around trying to get errands done on my time off before I would go back to work.

But then we worked from home and now I still work from home about 50% of the week.

But here I am... 3 days off... and struggling to fit everything I need to do in?

In fact, what I really need is like 30 days off to even make a dent... and I am horrified that I have let things go that I never meant to.. such as filing paperwork to protect my home in case of financial disaster.

This morning I over booked my time and will miss out on a dentist appointment. (though I am furious at them for sending me a reminder at 3:40 am)

Frustrated.

If I get whole lots of stuff done, I get zero rest. If I give myself time to rest, I get nothing done. It’s a vicious cycle

I try and stagger chores and errands by how much I enjoy them. That helps it feel less stressful, and by limiting the stress I feel like I get more done. I also make a point to cancel or postpone anything that isn't relevant or truly important enough to be a priority. I do this with my work as well, it seems to work wonderfully and impresses my managers. Not sure if that helps or makes sense, work and chores are unfortunately the only things I'm good at though lol.
