It’s after 10pm. July 12. We have fireworks blasting somewhere near by so loud that our windows shake. We can’t figure out where is it coming from. Why??? It’s not a holiday! It’s late.

I am with you. They have been off and on here as well since like June 27th. I just don't understand the fun.

I get it when it’s for a holiday like a few days before and after but this is over a week after. Bizarre

Sometimes over here people keep them for their own private celebrations, birthdays, weddings etc. it’s not reassuring to think of people storing explosives in their house (over here it’s only legal to sell them a week before Bonfire night or New Year so any other time they must’ve been stored).

Divine, I have gun nut neighbors who love shooting just to shoot. There are times I feel like I'm living in a war zone. I feel your pain.

Discombobulated, what is Bonfire night?

Bonfire night is Guy Fawkes, we celebrate on 5th November.

When i lived in Dearborn (yes a dogwhistle), there regularly were fireworks on the weekends, i think as part of wedding celebrations. We could see them in the distance, toward the main streets.

I think because we live around bunch of lakes people must be shooting them by the water but I feel it’s more this year.
