My second closest encounter with a deer, probably six yards (meters) away, calmly regarding me and allowing me to take a few pictures.

I’ve been to many impressive breathtaking places. But the first always comes to mind when asked this question is Kolkasrags (Cape Kolka.)
Where Riga Gulf stops and Baltic Sea starts. At certain times tide is so shallow that you can walk all the way into the sea towards old light house. The way waves connect I’ve never seen anything like that anywhere else. Like they go into each other like parquet floor? At an angle. It looks like from the outer world. Like can’t be real. It’s relatively modest sight compare to some impressive places in the world but there’s just something about it |

I have to say the north woods of Minnesota. Many awesome places up there. There’s something incredible o out the first days of autumn when the frost first hits about being on a deer train in the woods. It smells so incredible the greens a dark and intense, the edges of the leaves touched with the fire of change. I think it’s the sun’s altered elevation though the trees. It is burned into my soul.

Watching my dad airing out his colostomy bag in my room. Certainly wasn't breathing then!

Moonlight shining brightly on my snow-covered lawn, causing the ice crystals to sparkle like thousands of tiny diamonds as I sway gently.

I am all about God's creatures and I love watching deer run. It's like they don't even touch the ground yet they cover 20 yards in a second.

I went there once as a kid when my family lived in Michigan. The wild nature was pretty amazing. |

Some decent sunrises coming up over the Atlantic. [North] The whole coast thing with the weather changes is pretty amazing. Watching the fog come in over the cliffs and seeing puffs of it blow by you just feet away. Growing up I spent summers at my grandparents...many awesome days. Bring a sweater.

So true. Western side of the Peninsula is something else, like didn’t even expect it to be that gorgeous.
