reminiscing definition--indulge in enjoyable recollection of past events.

Some of us have had former usernames which we abandoned (). I was going to title this "Reminiscing,,," but then realized that most of us probably came here because of a crisis. I really haven't come in ages but because I left a dream journal out West almost a year ago and was trying to see if I had posted a certain dream on here (one with a table in it but couldn't find it ), I ended up looking at some very old material.

However, I do feel like things have changed so much for me since those first posts here (sometime in 2016). I now look to my faith for answers why things happened and how to make things better. I still see a psychiatrist (the same one since about 2016 but dropped all by meds with her help except 100 mg of gabapentin in the evening). I have a different talk therapist (the others moved or retired) but one of the main topics during therapy tend to be my physical health, family and faith. I usually just go about once a month and I mainly keep in touch in case a crisis did happen in the future. I do think that talk therapy is very helpful when people go through a crisis.

Though I did look back at a few posts today, I do believe that, once we have talked it out and prayed about it, it is probably best not to look back (negative situations, grief, etc) but to move on though I did feel a bit of sadness about a person who hasn't posted on here in years from which the last post from her (2016 or 17, I do not have the account with the emails but will never forget the message) made me wonder if she was OK. Perhaps I need to pray more for those who are severely depressed. It is a tough world out there and only God's grace can save us.
