When someone on any forum or on the internet or even in real life responds to you and corrects you and someone who doesn't like you and always ignores you, likes that persons post that is correcting you?

I’d say instigating is more of initiating some kind of action, possibly aggressive, that’s my understanding.

The situation you describe is more indirect and passive, possibly passive aggressive.

I dont think thats "correcting" you, but it IS saying they agree with the correctors opinion on a certain thing. I would see it more as a vote for the corrector rather than a vote against you.

You and the disliker would probably like each other more if you agreed with each other, but you don't. Who's to say if either of you is right or wrong - it's just a matter of preference, in most cases. Unless it's about something really evil. Otherwise, to each their own.

At some point, i just say, i dont care if people agree with me, but this is how i think, feel, believe, and will act.

Una, what a mature, adult way of viewing life. I believe the world would be a much more peaceful place if everyone could adopt this way of thinking.

Hey only took me 70 years to get here. Better late than never!

Seriously, or maybe not so seriously, i have been watching NCIS Origin, and its about how the Mark Harmon (michigan boy) character came to be. He had a bunch of rules the other chars always kidded him about, but they were pretty cool really.

Oh, and thanks!

It could be passive aggressive. Or just dumb.
