Something feels off about today. I mean, November 1st in NH and it's almost 70F before 9am? I was heading into get my meds today and there's this one construction zone that sucks just given the nature of the area. It usually takes about 8 minutes to go half a mile, but today there were maybe 5 other vehicles, the light was incredibly quick, and no one was being a d-bag so it didn't even take two minutes. I got back and out of my car and heard something like thunder, but it was just one quick rumble and we're not supposed to get any. It feels like there should be wind, but the air is just dead. At the CMHC, yesterday the lot was completely full and today it wasn't even 1/3 full.

Please tell me I'm not the only one!

You are right @MuddyBoots - it is a strange day. There is warm weatlher like summer and that may be a reason for people to stay hojme.

Or they have a sugar high from all the candy last night.

Anyway enjoy the warm weather while we have it.

We’re having a pretty typical day here, barely up to 50F

We had a cold front blow in last night so it changed from summer to winter overnight. My balcony door was pounding-rattling all night until i groggily slammed it shut, i hate when that happens. But yeah today feels like a different universe.

Tomorrow is my dad's favorite church day. All Souls' Day (today is all Saints' Day). He liked the way the priests would intone all these obscure, unique, fanciful? names. I never pictured my dad in church as a kid but he must have been to have heard these. So he would sit at the dinner table on this day and run thru a few from time to time. Dad definitely had a sense of humor. Quirky.
