It is Thanksgiving Day here in the States. In keeping with that, what are you thankful for? I'll start us off...

Inspite of all my complaining during hurricane season, I'm thankful I live in Florida. For all its flaws (don't all places have flaws?) it is a great place to live.

Tangential to the above, I'm thankful hurricane season ends this weekend. :dancingchili:

I'm thankful for my fur family. Love my critters. They bring me so much love and happiness.

I'm thankful for MSF. Thanks to Doc John for keeping the forums alive when PC got sold. Thanks to the friends I have here.

Who wants to go next?

Thankful that my wife and I still have a home are debt-free (excepting for mortgage), despite spending so much on medical stuff.

I’m thankful for a lot of things.

My SS, Medicare advantage plans, hud they all make it possible for me to have a nice home. I’m thankful for my inheritance that bought me a newer car and allows me to buy nice gifts for my grandkids and food I prefer instead of food I can afford. I’m grateful that I’m in pretty good health and no longer in pain. I’m grateful fro where I live that there’s nice people here to socialize with and play games with. I’m grateful for all the writers of books that I have to pass the time with.

For those brief moments of calm, where I’m actually not afraid and in a good place, full of hope for the future.

I’m so thankful this forum exists. Y’all have helped me grow and your support has gotten me through some bad times.

Thankful my health is good. Thankful my kids’ health is good. Thankful I still have my parents. Thankful I lost the rose coloured glasses I wore when looking at them, had my relationship break and rebuild and they’re still here! Nothing left unsaid. Thankful my brother said “ things were done and said to you that were wrong and should never have happened. I’m not comfortable talking about it but I can promise you it will never happen to you or your kids again”

Thankful someone started this thread.
