Living alone the past few months after my roommates moved out was a bit lonely, but I got two kittens and they can't replace human contact and relationships, but they are so cute they do put a smile on my face with the things they do...

I love my pets! They're a pain in the butt but I don't know what I'd do without them. MY dog, a boston terrier, is at my side at all times. When I've been my deepest dispair she's always there to wash my face then my feet (I insist in that order). She always seems to know when I need attention and when I need to be left alone.

I was recently adopted by a cat. He just started to show up at my window at night and demanded to be let in. I said well ok since you demanded and he's been in my heart ever since. His name is Tyger and he's an orange Tabby cat. He can be so annoying at time like when I'm sleeping and he thinks its time to play and he plays with his jingle bell balls by batting them across the room but when curls up next to me and starts to purr and do curly paws it about melts your heart so I think he's a keeper.

Well I guess that pets cant replace human contact. But sometimes they are better! Dogs and cats dont speak english, or whatever human language you speak true, but their language is always honest and true. The love my cat shows me is genuine. I never have to wonder! I know we get out of relationships what we put in (usually)! Your new kittens may have more to offer then you realize. Im glad they make you smile!

I think animals are our angels. I appreciate their company more than most people.

I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. They are the only thing that keeps me alive. They accept me unconditionally and are there even on the worse days.

They would never hurt me and in fact would most likely protect me.

Honestly, if anyone came into my life that did not like them, I would choose my pets first.

i love animals especially big dogs...don't have pets but agree it would help me mentally and emotionally. I am never home to be able to care for them....

my cat stays in our bathroom and when when ever some one tries to use the bathroom she jumps on their lap lol

I have a cat and He is my only reason for living too. He loves me uncondisionly, and he also does the bathroom thing, maybe it's a
cat thing, he doesn't stay in there but when he hears the bathroom
door open he comes running. He also takes the place of people
in my life, living alone and no family still living It has been so long
that I can't remeber the last time that I had any contact with people
except for the check out lady at the pharmcy and the checkout at *****art thoes are the only two places I go just twice a month.

I have 5 cats, some fish and a horse. I love my cats to death, they always scratch my door from outside when they want to come in and I open the door and they come running in. They always seem to know when I'm feeling down and come to comfort me. I like having fish because it makes you think about the simple things in life, because fish don't do much. They swim and they eat. They don't really have a way of showing any love to their owners, but still they make you think. And my horse is amazing, she loves to be petted and just be around us all the time.

I'll agree on that statement. My two dogs are my life. I mean I'd be worse off than I am now.
