Well I have an empty 33 gallon aquarium and have been debating on either getting fish, or getting a pair of hooded rats.

Dreaming of hooded rats

Well I just woke up from a dream that my cousin brought me one as a present. I think I may have made up my mind subconciously?

And the night before, I dreamed my grandmother's old house was full of rats in the basement, but they weren't mean or nasty, just there. Then, too, I also dreamed I got a gift box and opened it and found a live Cardinal in it and i set it free.

Dreaming of hooded rats

I wonder what all of this means?

it means this to me Bowzz.... take anything you like : )

the rat:

you have consciously made mental note of rats.. you have studied the symbology of rats and they have tucked themselves into your sub-conscience.... anything would that you gave a healthy dose of 'psychic' energy towards or upon....

in dreams the thought comes to the surface .. this while normal 'psychic' and 'not so psychic' guards are sleeping...

you subconsciously let you mind play 'mouse games' ... it might heal any existing conflict you have in relation to the mice and rats......

the bird.....

freedom... setting free the stress of many things i would guess.... an interesting choice of 'aves' ... red... what des it mean to you? not an eagle... what might that mean to you?

cool... : )

Thats guys!!!

Your ideas are much along the lines of what I was thinking too.

i relate the red cardinal to my passion for being a mommy.. set free and allowed to grow.

And, today, randomly, I was surfing the local Kijiji, and I found a rat breeder 30 min away!!!

So I think I am that much closer to getting a couple of new friends for my big aquarium. Dreaming of hooded rats

Ok - I so do not get the concept of pet rats. If you like em ok - but they give me the creeps.

Hi Rainbowzz ---

I say go for the rats - I have had them as pets and they make wonderful pets. They are really smart and, if you handle them a lot, loving and sweet. My last 2 - Willy and Harry - were funny, sweet boys. If you keep them in an aquarium just make sure to keep it really clean as ammonia from a urine build up can wreck their lungs and run up vet bills.

Have fun
