Ok, so one of the first things I do when I like someone's post is look to see if they have pictures. It may seem odd but seeing you all, putting a face to the alias, makes you more real somehow. I guess I'm just a visual person.

I do this so much that I hate that it takes two clicks (one on your name and one on user's photos) to see if you have any. And when there's nothing there, that's fine. But when there is a pic there, I dunno, I'm just happier. Suddenly I'm thinking, "I'm talking to that guy/girl" instead of DinosaurX572 or whatever. Make sense?

So I just wanted to make a little post encouraging people to post pics! Some of us look at them! Really we do!

I would definitely post pics if I knew how to use my scanner thingy and stuff coz I think it's a good idea. Makes a person somehow feel more real I think.

I like putting a face to the name, too. I've had a few shocks when someone finally posts their pic. LOL

I think people might be taking this post the wrong way.

If people don't want to, aren't comfortable, or just don't see a point in posting photos, then you shouldn't.

My post was more just to call out that there is a photo section and if people weren't sure that people look at them, I do.

I certainly would never want anyone to feel pressure to share a photo. That's not my intent at all.

Huh. I really regret this thread. I just thought that since I like the photos section I'd throw my interest out there as encouragement to those considering sharing. Part of why I did it was that I rarely see people post about the photos section. I had no idea this could be controversial in any way.

At any rate, I'd like to request that the thread be ignored so it goes away.
