I just finished watching VITUS, after refraining from renting it for several weeks, thinking it was yet another documentary about some gifted child. NOT at all. It's a wonderful film, wonderful story, great acting....no sex, violence, profanity, and a very uplifting story, yet not sappy or sentimental. If you want to be awed and feel good after watching a film, I highly recommend it!
If you've already seen it, I'd like to hear your thoughts! Patty |

It's in the newer rentals at the video stores. It's about a very gifted little fella who shows exceptional talent as a pianist. I'm quite a movie buff, and watch all kinds of films. I liked NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, and GONE BABY GONE. I watch all kinds, but this is nothing like those I just mentioned. I won't spoil it for you by outlining the plot or characters, but it really is excellent. As I mentioned earlier, I thought it was a documentary, and so refrained from renting it for quite a while. At my store, it is now a "5 day rental" since it's been around for a while. I just felt so good after watching it!
