I just overhead a library employee laugh not knowing the proper term for the plural of a computer mouse. He's training a new person and was telling her where to find the extra computer mice/mouses--LOL. I've thought about it myself several times. So just what is the *real* term? My own personality likes the idea of "mice" but somehow I would guess the proper term is probably mouses. What do you think? Or does anyone know for sure? DocJohn?

Well, it worked for them. Plural of a computer mouse?

Pixie & Dixie and Mr. Jinks are probably best remembered for Mr. Jinks' refrain, "I hate meeses to pieces", "meeses" being pronounced to rhyme with "pieces".

Mouses.

MOUSE is an acronym, and is short for Manually-Operated User-Selection Equipment so technically MOUSE is already the plural in that it encompasses "equipment."
