Has it's own gas station Thursday's campground We're just across the border from Charlotte, North Carolina in South Carolina and their gas prices are less because of lower taxes. So, everyone comes from Charlotte across the border for the lower gas prices. Notice the camp site in the foreground at the edge of the picture (under the tree).

There's also a little "bar" and you order fresh pizza cooked next door (in the campground office where there's a Blimpies sub shop too) and they deliver it to the bar! It was about 100 degrees (seriously) when we arrived here this afternoon but now is probably low 90's, much much better. And our recreational vehicle air conditioner has been running for the last 2-3 hours so it's nice and cool in here. The wi-fi is horrible (but free) and if this doesn't go through, I'm not sending it again :-)

Nope, I-77; we didn't do Georgia until today on I-95 :-) I want to know whose idea I-26 was; that's the sorryest looking interstate I've ever seen.

Hey was looking for you and wondering if you found a place with wi-fi. Thursday's campground
Miss you here.

I love travelling I-77 Thursday's campground zip zip zip through the states. The carolinas were especially fun and one or the other had beautiful landscaping in the median that I enjoyed.

Hope you're having a great time and keeping cool !

No, we're at Disney's campground, Ft. Wilderness and their wi-fi spots are inconvenient and I couldn't get it to work the one time I tried.

But I'm having fun with my golf cart (the place is so huge you have to have one to get around; no cars allowed) and illegally feeding a couple ducks who stop by each day. No bugs either!

I'm in a Starbucks/Barnes and Noble hot spot for the moment, on battery. We'll be leaving here Tuesday morning so Tuesday evening I'll be in a real wi-fi place for the night.

I have pictures of my campsite but didn't upload them from my camera yet; my husband insisted I take them as we have a lovely palm tree next to us :-)

When gas prices first began to go up, everyone here would get gas in MI because the gas taxes are lower. Local gas station owners were in an uproar, wanted to somehow make it illegal for us to buy gas in MI. Took pictures of cars with WI plates. Looked like Perna's pic. Line of WI cars. Took out ads in the paper.
