First dog sitting though!
Meaning babysitting a dog and not sitting on a dog...

We may keep him! I'm not sure though. He's my friend's dog and they can't keep him any longer because they're moving. He's a husky cross and he said we could have him if we want... not sure it's the ideal breed with the twins and my physical situation. But he's soooooo cute! I could get a dog! (pics)

Probably won't, but look at him! I know I've shown people the third pic (him in the snow) before. All the pics are a little old.

huskies are good dogs and are good with kids. they do like to eat furniture and underwear though lol. they get bored easy. they need alot of room to run.

As long as huskies and husky mixes get enough excersize then they're great! Otherwise they'll get bored and start acting out. I don't know where you live but if you had a yard it'd be good to let him run and play around often. And if you live in the city- most of them (well, at least here) have large parks to run around in too. I could get a dog! (pics)

We used to have a husky mix, she looked like an orange wolf I could get a dog! (pics) she was a real sweetheart and the smartest dog I've ever known in my entire life!

Such a gorgeous doggie! Yeah, I'd be tempted to adopt him too!
Do you have a fenced yard where he can get outside? Talking about the "twins," how old are they. When my daughter was very young, preschool, my sis had a huskie/German Shepherd mix, who was lovely, but too rough with the little kids. They had to get rid of him, don't remember how.

He is so precious!!!! Gosh what a beautiful dog.
Let's see..I'll write here what this book I have about dog breeds says for a Husky.
They are supposed to be gentle, needs lots of exercise, don't do well in warm weather and aren't really suited for urban living.

Do you know what it is crossed with? That may help figure out the temperment.

German Shepp, and Border Collie.

He's so awesome! He's a little crazy, and runs around howling, but I was tossing a ball around with him earlier. His name is Char.

I could get a dog! (pics) Thanks everyone.

and we had a black lab for a while.

Wow twin 6 month olds and a dog, you're ambitious! When my boys were that age I didn't know if I was coming or going. Good luck to you!

Well, I wanted a Burmese python, but girlfriend said no way. I could get a dog! (pics)

He's such a sweet dog... I was thinking as he's mostly husky he would eat my sofa but he retrieves whatever I throw. I should train him to retrieve my phone and remote control then I'm all set! I could get a dog! (pics)

Still don't know if we'll keep him though... dog-sitting still for now!

ahh hes a damn sweetie vince. it would be great if you could adopt him, i think he would help you no end.
be careful with him and the twins but if he learns to be uber careful ithink it should be ok. and it also depends how big your yard is.
I could get a dog! (pics)
take care vince

Beautiful dog, Vince. I think you should keep it.

I have learned that dogs make life a little more complete. I am 57, and never had a dog until I was 51. We always had cats when I was growing up. We got a puppy for my wife 6 years ago, and a playmate for the pup 1 1/2 years later. I have become a "dog person". If my mother was still around, she wouldn't believe it!

I haven't figured out how to attach pics here, but you can see a pic of the dogs in my photos. I am holding Heidi, and my wife is holding Daisy.
