kakariki is the breed...

I didn't read it anywhere in the info but FYI 'kakariki' is the Maori word for green (hence why I thought you had named him that lol).

we went up the the averies again today, to get ricky the kakariki a friend.
 and while we were there we noticed a cockatail that was in need of rescue.... so we have given her a home too.
