maybe he should be working on passing "algorithms" . now that is something i know nothing about. lucky to be able to pronounce it.. don't think my son knows either, this fall will be the fourth time he had to take the class.. then..i hope he gets that cs degree......or bust.......

just complaining or something...been here one night and already wired and my son isn't even here. he is laying somewhere on the beach soaking up the sun's rays with his new stripper girlfriend. ok.. i know strippers are people too.. actually she is quite nice, very clean, and makes lotsss of money as she is paying for the weekend trip to the beach.. lucky son.. eh... shrugs shoulders ..... actually i like this new girlfriend l00 times more than his last one

computer people... rolls eyes Yep. computer people... rolls eyes And there is a small pin hole to push in at, to fully reset a router when it refuses to listen to the 10 seconds of no power! I have to reset mine after a electrical storm and power surges.

I know very little about computers and am kind of intimidated by them so I was actually very amused when I bought my computer and router and the clerk explained to me that if I ever had a problem getting a wireless signal, to unplug the cable modem and then unplug the router wait 10 seconds and plug them back in. I've had to do it a couple of times, and even though it's nothing I alwyas feel intensely proud of myself for some reason.

actually some routers can be reset remotely, doesn't always work but about 90% of the time i log onto my router and tell it to reset and whallaaa, back online. modem is a different story though, that has to be unplugged always.

I always make my "systems administrator" (my husband) walk upstairs and do it, LOL. It's all connected to his machine and sometimes his machine/the wireless network has to be rebooted too (with passwords, etc.) so I don't mess with it unless I'm upstairs on my desktop machine (which is 3 feet away from the whole shebang and refuses to work consistently/as easily as my laptop).
