I'm eating crow right now, as I had posted just a week or so ago that I was free of fleas. Today, I found two fleas on me. Went out to the petstore to buy more Frontline, and they were out of it for the three cats! I did buy a spray for the house and used it, and haven't seen any fleas since, but will have to go out to the vet tomorrow and hope they have the Frontline. I had applied Frontline a month or so ago, but am told fleas have developed resistance. Makes me itch all over! My three cats are restricted to the garage only till I get rid of the fleas!

That made me shiver - any bug does. I hope they have the treatment you are looking for and you get rid of them. Poor cats.

OMG...fleas! OMG...fleas! OMG...fleas!

One time.. I let a friend.. store all of her stuff down in my basement.. it.. was empty.. she needed a place... well.. it also came with fleas..

Yazaa!!!!!!!!!!!!! is what I have to say... a basement full of fleas... they never made it upstairs...

I did have to have a professional... come over.. and treat the basement... because.. fogging it several times did no good...

so.. your poor kitters... and you....

I get "Revolution" now instead of Frontline, following the advice of my veterinarian. It covers more pests.

My cat is currently infested with fleas, according to the vet.. meaning she has to stay inside for a month.

I'm covered in bites, it is most annoying!

Oh, yuck, our friend is having troubles and I always feel like making him strip and checking him before he comes in the house each weekend to visit OMG...fleas!

He has two apartments as he "lives" in Maryland but has a temporary job in Virginia so only comes "home" Friday afternoon until Monday morning. His cats are cared for a maintenance lady in his apartment complex Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

He does wear white socks and I find myself staring at them while he's sitting near me OMG...fleas! At night I keep feeling like I'm being bitten by them/something but I haven't seen a one and my two cats do a lot of quality time together (and one's short-haired and light red so they'd show up if he had them). I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It's not too terrible, just not that much fun either.

It's getting better though, so there are less and less bites.

I never see the damn things, or feel when I'm bitten. I just wake up covered in them.

Not for sure about cats (so please check before using) - but Dawn dish soap is great at killing and keeping the fleas off of animals... I use it when I wash my dogs and I only have a flea problem about once every four years, for a months or two.

Thanks, all, for your feedback on the fleas! I sprayed with Adams aerosol can for house several times, and haven't seen any more of them. Also, I treated my cats with Frontlline, and they seem to be free of fleas as well, though prior to the treating, when I petted them, I would find fleas on myself and them as well. I brought home a new puppy from the animal shelter, and the poor thing had both fleas and ticks on him. The vet told me to saturate him with the Adams flea spray rather than putting on the Frontline, since he may be less than 8 weeks old, then give him a bath, which I did. He seems to be fine now, but I'm still watchful for fleas on all of my pets!...and ME as well!
