I walked into another room where my son and husband were earlier today. As soon as my son saw me, he quickly put some papers behind his back, and then looked at his Dad. I asked him if he had something he wanted to share with me and he said no, it was a secret. I looked at his Dad and he said he would share it with me in time. No biggie, went on with my day...
My son was taunting me all afternoon with his secret. Following me around the apartment, mocking, laughing..I ignored him (giggling under my breath). Just a bit ago, he said "Mom, I'm ready to show you my secret". I said ok, thinking he was just taunting me still. He came back, paper in hand, and said "Mom, I wasn't go to show you this yet, and don't tell Dad you saw it". It was a homemade birthday card. My birthday is next month. I could have waited, guess he couldn't!!!

Very cute story ((((((((((((((( mybestkids2 ))))))))))))))))) Yep...son does love you loads to be so excited and happy about making you a homemade birthday card. That's one thing I've learned over the years is to not tell the youngsters when something is a secret for an upcoming birthday or holiday, cuz they can almost never keep the surprise a secret
