I know, this isn't happy stuff, but it just didn't fit into most categories here. But, I figured it would be a good thing to bring to your attention incase you haven't heard about it.

I got this link via email from someone who works at the animal shelter that I volunteer at. So sad. And the video and pictures are pretty graphic for those who are sensitive to that sort of thing.

http://www.thechaistory.blogspot.com/

So, for those of you who are too sensitive to look at that site, there is a toy from the company Four Paws Inc. called the pimple ball with bell. It's a pinkish ball with little things that look like pimples sticking up on it, and I guess there is a bell inside of it. Anyway, the ball has a hole in it that apparently if a dog puts its tongue near, it will get sucked in, causing some really awful injuries. Like the dog in the story I posted ended up having his tongue amputated because of his injuries from this toy. That is really really sad.

So, if you have bought this toy for your dog, I recommend taking it away from them, or not giving it to them at all. I definitely hope a lawsuit is placed to this company becaus no dog should be getting injured from playing with a toy they love.
