Our niece left Philadelphia at 6:15pm and is probably about half way accross the pond right now to France. She will be teaching at a universite till May. Please keep her in your thoughts/ prayers if you will. She has had a real struggle getting her work visa and finally attained that last Wednesday. And she is homesick already. But wanted this job to put on her credentials when she goes to get a job here in the states. This is her second time in France, she was there as an exchange student thru the university she went to here in the states. She has also been a student in Spain . She doesnt even have a place to live yet. They havent helped her a bit over there. Sorry , but the whole family is just a bit upset about this. Like I said, she needs as many thoughts / prayers as she can get. She's supposed to arrive in Paris at 1am our time.

Thanks!!! I just checked her flight and it just arrived in Paris!! SOoooooooo happy about this! Now she has to catch a train at noon over there to her final destination. WHEW almost there!! Thanks for your thoughts!!

I hope once she get to her destination she will find some kind of support.

As her Mom you have every right to be in nutsville until she is settled.

May be since she has been to France before she won't feel so alienated.
