I got invited to go to a NHL game!!

Friday night I'll be going to see the Columbus Blue Jackets and Nashville Predator game!! I am sooo stoked right now. Never been to a NHL game, just IHL. So this is like big time for me Soo Happy I dont have to spend a Friday night alone!! WOO HOOO!!!

I live not far from the Panther's home rink. They've been running a Hockey Mom's 6 pack special... for mothers /families, tickets, food, drink, etc for 6

I remember my hometown had a junior league team for years before it landed a new NHL club. The difference in power and skill was like night and day. I remember one guy blasted a puck that nearly landed in the top row of the arena! It was amazing.

I imagine you'll get the same feeling going from watching the IHL to the NHL. TV doesn't so the sport justice.

(Oh yes, no offence meant to those junior and IHL players...pro sports is a tough racket and most do give it their best, especially in hockey).

Ugh.. the day is not starting out well for this. I got to bed late making treats to take along for the trip there and back. And did not get slept out. Now I feel like my butt is dragging everywhere.. and believe me , its not easy to drag around lol. Maybe I can get a lil power nap in after lunch .

OMGosh this is soo funny. My friend is in Ft Wayne watching the Komets.. and Preds are in Nashville playing Blue Jackets.... When one scores the other scores too. Its like they are in sync lol.
