through this awful ordeal!
There are many to thank, I don't know where to start. Every pm, every little talk in chat, every encouragement, every kudos thread and all the posts that followed. All those who played with me in games, and gave me a special room of my own. All those support chats that opened their arms to me, and embraced me, even if it appeared my situation might take over the talks, I want you to know I tried hard for that not to be the case. The chatroom, and all the great posters in there, who treated me as an equal, and if I wanted to talk fine, if not, chats as usual... I loved that! The notes I received, the pm's and the few phone calls (the very brave, as that is not easy to do, phone someone from here), the skpe call even, and the heart-warming friendships that I got to accept, or be accepted by! I know I can write anyone of those people at any time and get a response... how lucky am I? To my many, many new friends, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart, for not running away from me because I have cancer. You stayed. You laughed and played, no matter. Some of you prayed. It is all good. I will take many special moments with me to the hospital this week ... and when I close my eyes at 7:30 am PST, on Thursday, Nov. 6th, I hope that you will see me in a mental picture, covered in a pink blanket of love ... and add yours to the vista! If you forget, and it's 9am, it's not too late, I'll still be in there, lol. You can send me some love then, it's just as good. The Poobahs will have the info for you as it dribbles in, since I can have someone write on my 'c' thread in there on my behalf, to keep you posted, if you like. I will be in hospital for about 2 weeks, and if things don't get complicated, hopefully I will get home, otherwise there will be rehab after. I'm afraid, of course, but hey, that's the breaks. I'll be trying to think of the good times... speaking of that, we need more good times here. So, without further delay, I release this thread, and all of you, from lifes' unpleasant circumstances, and hope you all are getting revved up for the holiday season ahead... you know I'll be, when I get back. I promise to do my best and try to win Thread War 14 in your honor.
 I also promise to make muffy keep your room clean until you get back.  And watch out for the footless poolboy while your recuperating.  He's been known to try and steal poor, unsuspecting feet.

Thank you Lenny, it means alot, what you just said to me. I have always believed that, and once experienced such a turnaround for about a decade in my life.
I'm ready to receive all the good there is again. BTW, I see you have a sobriety anniversary as of Halloween! Good for you. You look wonderful. You always remind me of Eric Clapton, in your pictures! Heck, you are already fine  I can only hope that if I am ever faced with such overwhelming situations in my life that I can hold my head high and fight tooth and nail to get through it as you do and continue to do each and every moment of every day.
