Any PC-ers live in Washington DC? If you'd be willing to pick me up a Post for the next couple days, I'll pay for the papers and the shipping and a few extra bucks just because.
 Mark Felt died and I need to complete my collection. I have the whole WaPo from the day Nixon resigned and the whole one from the day after Felt revealed himself as Woodward and Bernstein's source. I paid a farkin' fortune for them on Ebay, too! (Well, the resignation one, anyway. Some nice person bought about 50 copies the day of the reveal and sold them for $3.95 apiece. Not bad profit on a 50-cent newspaper.  )Watergate is my favorite period of American journalism history and one of the very few things I actually get obsessive about, so just indulge me if I start getting crazy about it, please  . I try not to bore people with it, but sometimes I fail.  Thanks! Candy |
