im so proud of daughter (21 yr old) she put her mind to going to uni and made it she is half way through her first year, shes found a placement to do the extra hours she needs and is looking at next year allrady, she will need to find somewhere to live for the next school year, she has allready looked online to see what is out there, now she has the summer to sort but today she txted me to tell me thats sorted she has aplied to come over to us and work at camp chinqueka, connecticut al she has to do is pay for flights and stuff but she will be working in us for 14 weeks

she is doing so well for a child that had such low self asteem when she was at school

That is soo neat Kathy that she is going to get to do this!! Very happy for her. I know with my niece being in France teaching its done her a world of good with her self esteem too. And its good for her to know that she's got her parents supporting her on her decisions. That shows you did your job well!!

wtg..congrats to her...my nephew is in japan teaching and he says thats the best move he has ever made..he has been there for 4 years and just informed us he is going to uk next year

Sounds like she is doing a wonderful job!! Working in Connecticut eh? That's just a hop skip and a jump from me. I was born there (shhhhhhh don't tell anyone....LOL).

It sounds like things are coming together well for her....that is just so great!
