I just scheduled a doctor appointment <AGAIN> for on Monday to try and get diabetes and kidney meds. The colleagues in my doctor's office have yet to see past the "normal lab results". It comes down to it that because of my health problems, my lab test results are actually abnormally normal. My own regular doctor is sure--but because of my psych issues and previous problems with another doctor, I now have problems talking to him about it. So because of that and the fact that I need to actually talk at an appointment, he won't very well work to be the one to officially diagnose me. Remember, I email him and he opens up appointments so I can check the schedules online. Well, he thinks this one certain doctor who I haven't seen before might actually believe me and not the abnormally normal labs I've had. I hope this works! I've been sick for most of the past two weeks. I don't have test strips to be able to test my sugar level, but I know my sugar was high yesterday because my urine smelled sweet. I haven't been eating much of anything. Since eating produces insulin and I am not eating, and my kidneys don't filter insulin well, insulin isn't building up in blood anymore to keep my blood sugar down. I am trying to get a little sugar now but I don't know how well I am doing. Anyway, I am really, really hoping and praying that my appointment Monday will be the beginning of finally getting all of this treated! This is not the best lifestyle to have a stomach that feels bad from one end to the other with headaches and everything else. I am sitting here freezing wearing my coat and hat--I'd have my gloves on too if I could type with them. I am getting a lot of rides from people to the shelter sites at night. That helps alot! I don't have a way to my doctor appointment yet and I don't have money for the bus, but I'll probably figure something out. The doctors office will be about 45 minutes to get to if I can get a ride from someone. Hopefully I'll find someone with gas in their car because I don't have a gas card or money to do it for them. It should be able to work out though. I realized something really sad the past week. March is about to begin. That means not much time left until the overnight shelter sites close for the "season" and won't reopen until October. The season ends the last day of April.

Thank you everybody!!!! I'm scared about the appointment, and kind of excited. Those of you so inclined, please say a prayer! I tend to react very horribly after doctor appointments.
