I got an idea this afternoon and just emailed one of the local newspapers! I am hoping that they will help me to publicize my new website about homelessness all around the local suburbs! This newspaper is "homeless-friendly" and loves to write stories about our group. Naturally, I offered a gratuitous link or ad for any help they can give me. Gosh, this is getting fun! I hope they will help! I think/assume they will?! I am hoping that with publicity and growth, my site can develop "partnerships" with agencies; meaning that organizations themselves will use my site and encourage their clients to also. I feel that the only way to combat homelessness is for everyone to work in a team effort. It doesn't work when clients have too many negative feelings about their caseworkers and agencies they work with.

I don't know where this idea came from, but I am guessing that somewhere deep down the inspiration may have come subliminally or something from Candybear. LOL

Yes, I, too believe homelessness can be fought with a team effort! Go inkblot!!! A homeless friendly newspaper, what a blessing, sounds like one open minded newspaper!!
