((((((((((((((((((Beth))))))))))))) Every time I started a new semester, I got so overwhelmed the first day. The teachers would go over the syllabus for the whole semester and I'd always sit there thinking, oh no, I don't know any of this!
 It took all I had to remember that that was why I was in the class- to learn those things, lol. It's okay if you don't know what they are talking about the first day when they tell you everything you're going to cover. They will give out information bit by bit and you'll do great.Have fun and let us know how the first day went.

OMGOSH!!!!!! Thank you so much you guys!! I am a nervous wreck today. Making sure I have all my paperwork signed and I even got my bookbag packed lol.
 I have to say Wanttoheal, that your story has helped me calm down a bit. Thank you for that!! And TRM.. awwwwwww I wuv your poem!! That was so nice of you! You guys are the absolute bestest!! I am sure this encouragement will carry me thru the days and weeks ahead. Thanks so very much!!

I'm thirsty, my feet are all swollen, my head is spinning , we had a quiz already on the first day, Need I say... it didnt go all that well? Ohh yeah, I almost started bawling out loud on numerous occasions... Tell me why I am doing this again?

I know how hard it can be. Do you have enxiety? your descriptopn sounds like it.
Why are you doing this? you have a goal - to get a degree and a profession! and you do this, althought you have fears so only for overcoming that fear and working like any student you deserve to be praised - i know that you forget it and that teachers don`t know it - but you overcome you made that decission to do what you have to - and believe me - this actually means you have the courage, and the ability to work Also - you know- passing a test is not a life/death issue, its just what it is. if you fail an exam you can always do it again. If things don`t go well it doesn`t mean you are less smart than you thought you were - it means that it takes more work than you thought, and you can do it Good Luck |
