My nephew is coming home for two weeks. I dont know if ya'll remember me talking about my brother taking him and moving to Illinois the day after christmas in 2007. Anyway he's coming down. He told me he's taller than me now. My little baby taller than me. I am happy that my brother has done the right thing in raising him, finally taking interest in his life. Tres' is making straight A's in school, has some good friends and his own horse. Up in Illinois they live on a horse ranch, called Fleur de lis Ranch. His dad is getting married next month and he'll have a step mom. And Tres' really likes her.
He told me to get the tackle box and poles ready, he plans on going fishing every day he's here. I'm so happy he said that. I use to enjoy taking him fishing. I was there when he caught his first fish and when he caught his biggest fish so far. There's an insecterium museum in the city and they have this restaurant in there that serves nothing but cooked insects in some way. He's already making bets with me on what i'll eat. Just had to tell ya'll. Cause i can't wait to hold him again. |

Thank ya'll so much. And i'll let you know how many insects are eaten. It might turn into a contest for real with him.
I attached two pics of him. The one of him in the chair is the month before he left. And the other one of him in the band uniform he sent to us a few months ago. He's grown so much. ((((Hugs Ya'll)))) chal |

Chal I remember the pain you went through in letting him go, and how you knew you was doing the right thing ! And it proves it by the way he is getting straighe A s and is happy with his horse and his soon to be step mum ! You must feel so proud ! I am so happy for you and so pleased he is coming for a visit !
Let us know who eats the most insects lmao.
