I was wondering what everyone does when they are online? - I am asking as I am getting bored with my regular online activities (forums, emails, myspace, classifieds, im chatting)..... I need something new to do.

I have a short attention span for many games also but my son gave me a subscription to shockwave for Christmas. I get full version of all games and they only take a short time to master. This way I get endless games. Gamehouse has a free full version of games each day. There is also www.pogo.com out there, many many time buring games there as well.

I also like watching TV programs and movies online.

I come on here to see whats up. I must admit its rather slow here lately. then again everything is striking me funny no matter where I go.
I do google alot. If I see a documentary, or an old movie i look up actors actresses. Its interesting learnng who is still around or where did they grow up. checking this bio green movement I happened to find an old classmate who has a huge business down there. I love Mah Jong, also Scrabble but that I haven't played much anymore as the meds slowed my brain down.) I work on genealogy off and on. There is so much history there that I can lose whole days following lincs. antiques, plants, gardensetc. I will try that game linc. I would like more games. What about your crafts? Weren't you doing something before? Are you all crafted out? You could take up fishing.Have you ever done caligraphy? I did it for awhile. it was fun.

Hey I just remembered a couple things I used do. Google -Country Inns and you could get the best inns around and their specialty breakfast items. I got some wonderful cinnaman buns and also an apple coffee cake recipes But they were all famous for something. Attached to that linc there was a gardening portion. You could ask questions or even trade seeds from people all over. I loved that but haven't done it for a long time. Just google Country Inns or Best country inns. There should be something for each state. We have also tried a few recipes that have been excellent. We only use cooks.com now. We did a Potato soup and also a Banana bread with walnuts. Both are apsolutely excellent.

You should check out www.stumbleupon.com

Its basically a toolbar that you set up in your browser, and you click a button and it brings you to a random website. There are hundreds of categories you can choose from. You can also set it to disallow adult sites(or allow, if thats your bag LOL) so that you dont get anything nasty.

I have wasted countless hours on stumbleupon between random information, games, pictures, jokes and whatnot!

Hi Rhap.

I spend time at Tiger Direct building and rebuilding the computer i would like to have for an editor. Also spend time researching different states, their wonders of interest. Doing that with the states its kind of like taking mini vacations. I also like learning about the history of different areas of the states. Some towns are very interseting. I found one close to Springfield, Ill. Most the town is suppose to be haunted. They showed different facts and history that lead to this happening and all the research going into it to prove its existance. Who knows. I also found in Florida, can't remember the town, but its in the panhandle. They have a 75ft waterfall. I think the town was off of I-10 about northwest of Panama City. Pretty waterfall. They also have caverns not far from the waterfalls. Just a few towns away. When i get bored with doing this stuff. I go read a book.

Hope this might give you ideas from it.

I did Genealogy many years ago online but didn't bother for afew years. Now I find so much more on line than ever before and I am adding some very interesting stuff to my research.

I also look at sites about gardening especially if they are about organic measures that one can do at home.

Love to get free patterns for Quilting or xstitch although I haven't actually done any of them, just like to collect for that rainy day.

I google health issues that might relate to my current health problems. Have learnt alot about Meds and how somethings can related to each other etc.

If I had broadband, I would look at googleworld. Very interesting to see your place from space or someone you know and where they live etc.

Currently reading other peoples blogs just to see what they think about and write. Very interesting. Not sure I would actually do one though...

I also like to look up reciepes for better health regarding Diabetes etc.

Many years ago I used to RPg with a group writing stories with a Trek theme. Was fun when one couldn't sleep.

Yeah I did the Genealogy thing for a year - and I was able to track my family line back to twelve generations.... and by doing this I found out that we are related to Daniel Booth... that was exciting.
