Being alone, I would like to do some traveling. I can't afford much, plus, I work full-time. I was looking today at the "Elderhostel" website, which is travel for people over 55. What a great bunch of opportunities they offer. I noticed that travel within the US seems very reasonable, is planned for educational experience as well, which also interests me. Has anyone here participated with them?

that sounds like fun! I have a friend that use to go with her mom on summer bus trips for seniors and had a blast.

Sounds awesome. I don't know about there but you could check out some single groups and they usually know all the good places.Actually just google that name Elder.... Something should show up and list the places to join. There is a thing I just learned about called Meetups. People walking dogs , jogging, whatever put a notice in the club and others can join and do it too. If you want to travel check the listings to see if it is already started with a group or you put your idea out there and see who contacts you. The groups are spreading all over the states and canada.
