Does anyone else do ballet? Or enjoy dance? It is something I do with a large passion and would love to know if anyone else does!
God bless

Just enjoy! I did ballet until I could do no further eg; Teach at age 14 or give up. Did not make me happy. What did! was the free flow & how my body did move! it was to me a freedom no one could take from me.!

Enjoy! feel free! It's the best advise I can give to someone who's body sometimes has a mind of it's own!

I have never done ballet.....but it's beautiful to watch......such awesome control & such beautiful movements.

I do love to do ballroom dancing....that for me was my favorite feeling of freedom.....flowing across the floor with the waltz & the tango....& the fun moves with the cha cha & the samba. My husband refused to dance....refused to even try.....so I enjoyed lessons & finding people who I could really dance with to really enjoy dancing.

I had a friend in Jackson Hole (the ski instructor we met there) who enjoyed doing the western swing.....I always enjoyed my vacations there, dancing with him. My husband would tag along & just sit there & watch.....I remember doing that at one dance in junior high when I thought I couldn't possibly know how to dance...sitting there watching everyone else enjoying themselves.....swore that wasn't going to happen after that experience.....I wanted to have fun too & decided not to let my possibly feeling embarrassed keep me from having fun. If you sit there never do something, you never really know if you can do it or if you mind is what is stopping you & you could be having fun just like everyone else (when it's something that isn't dangerous to your health...lol)
