Now that I'm back living in the countryside again, I'm so much more relaxed and happy.

But, there is one thing I think I need to brush up on and that is the Morse Code. We seem to have a large number of woodpeckers around that are very loud and drumming all the time! They speak to each other endlessly through the day and sometimes they are drumming on the metal speed limit sign near the house. I figured if I brush up on that morse code I might be able to figure out what the heck they are talking about all day long with their incessant pecking

Sabby....

And, if you learn the morse code you could get your own metal sign and talk back to them if they were keeping you awake.

Something along the lines of..."Hey!! I'm trying to sleep...Shut up already!!

Dit dot dot dit dit dot dit dit dit dot dot dit dot!! !!

I wonder if they are all trying to get together to go to the headbangers ball???

Lordy lordy, this morning there were 5 of them all around the house. It was like a symphony of rattatatting. Then all the bluejays chimed in along with the woodpeckers....it was quite a serenade this morning LOL.
