I feel so lonely (Koala bear), and at the same time so mad (African Hornbill bird). Also, I feel like I want to scream (Silverback gorilla) when I see how my hubby sleeps so nicely, while I can't fall asleep (Kangaroo). I wish I could relax for a moment (Polar Bear).
Sorry....I was just trying to express my feelings...kind of in a nutshell...I don't want to burden people with my problems. Also, I don't know if this is the right place to post this kind of messages.

Hey PTSD...

Just dropping in for a moment before I head out, but I wanted to say that I hope that you are/were able to get some good rest!!

I like how you incorporated the pictures with your moods...very creative!! I love creative stuff like that!!

If you ever want to swing by our profile, I put up pictures of all of our parts. We are many. We call our system The Troops. We have dissociative identity disorder along with the C-PTSD. I hope this doesn't scare you.

This is Tosh...I am 15 and into arts and crafts.

Take care.

Hi Elysium3006 & Tosh ! Thank you for replying to my thread and for liking my creativity. I love doing stuff like that...I am into photography - it kind of relaxes me...whenever I feel like I can do it (it's been a while since I haven't worked on my photos...not in the mood). I will definitely visit your profile album and see all of you...Don't worry...it doesn't scare me...
Oh, btw, I didn't get to sleep....haven't slept in 4 days...so last night I had to take the Ambien pill to be able to sleep.

Take care and have a wonderful Mother's Day!

(((( Hi Jan ))))
I am sorry....you're right, it's not fair for them to be able to fall asleep while we have to watch them...Oh, well...what is fair in this world anyway! I hope you can get some sleep, though!

PTSD,
Sharing your feelings is not burdening anyone...we come here to give and get support and that's really what you are asking for, I think.
It's very good that you are able to identify your feelings and use creativity to express them--the animal idea was splendid!

Please keep posting and let us know how you are, ok?

Catherine

p.s. a mod will move a thread if by chance we post in the wrong forum so don't worry about it.

Dear Catherine, you are such a wonderful and supportive person...thank you for your kind words. I am glad you liked my way of expressing my feelings. It's almost morning, and I can't sleep....and it drives me crazy...and I am stressed...on Monday I have one presentation left to give and two research papers of 25 pages to finish....which I haven't even started...oh, well....my mind is not in the right place, so I can't write anything (coherent, at least...lol). I guess, I have to take one Propanolol pill...it's night but my body is releasing so much adrenaline...my heart is pounding so hard and maybe that's the reason I can't even sleep....damn PTSD...sometimes, I get tired of this situation...one day good, the other bad...hmmmm....ok, enough of that....
How are you doing Catherine? What's new with you?

Hey, thanks for the loving words!
See? You gave me support also...

well, we are both wide awake and need the rest 'cause we have 14,099 things to do and right now I don't give a darn.
My little helper--aka sleeping pill--apparently hasn't dissolved so I'm roaming the forums. Superstition/hope? speaking now, but maybe it will dissolve since I said that and I'll get some beauty sleep.
beauty sleep? right now I need an extreme makeover

I remember being overwhelmed at times with school demands. Methinks the nuns thought I was a lost cause, but in all fairness I did give them a run for their prayers since they didn't have any money

I hope your Propananol was able to get you a little sleep.

I remember the days of term papers and finals. No fun with no sleep. I am glad those days are behind me a little. I wish I was in school sometimes. I love to learn new things and wish I could go to our community college but I can't afford it. I found out they have culinary classes there and I love to cook so would like to go through their culinary program. But then I wonder if I would really like to do that and become a chef and work in a resturant and cook all the time would the joy of cooking become a chore?

I was able to get a few hours in before Tyger wanted to go back out. He also had eaten all his food and licked me in the ear giving me a wet willy to say Mommy feed me and then let me out. I have to get up and let him because he doesn't use a litter box he does his business outside. He has never expressed interest in having a litter box so I never got him one. This winter when we had 3 inches of ice I took a box and put some dirt in it and tried to get him to use that but he still wanted to go outside.

Hi there, my friend! I hope you got your "beauty sleep".... Also, what kind of sleeping pill are you taking? My pdoc gave me Ambien...hmmm...I don't take it...I took it once, and when I woke up I was more tired than when I went to sleep. So, usually I am staying awake until my body gives up and lets me take a little nap...lol. I see you were a very good student . Good for you! Anyway, let me know how you are...

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Hi Jan, I am so glad that you replied to my thread. I am very shy, but believe me...I love hearing from people and making friends (like everybody else around here...lol). I got 2 hours of sleep...YAYYYYYY ! I know that many people identify with the burden of school papers and final exams...I can't wait to finish this semester...I am too tired, and my mind is not working anymore.... I think that taking some culinary classes would be awesome...especially if you like to cook. I don't know about you, but I love to cook - just that I don't think I could do it as a job....it would make it look so redundant and boring job...to cook over and over again. But maybe you're different and you'll love a job as a chef...so go with your guts. I am glad to hear that you have a cat...it's interesting that your Tyger doesn't use a litter box...it would've been so much easier for you and for him...but, that's life...at least he keeps you alert most of the time...lol... Anyway, let me know what's up with you today!

BTW...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

I didn't get anything for Mother's day from Tyger except a kiss on the nose. I was laying on my back on the bed and he jumped up on me and licked me on the nose 2xs. I said well thanks for the kiss Tyger now will you let me up?

I went on a road trip with my parents and Grandma. We live near Beaver Lake in Arkansas and Dad wanted to see if they had opened the flood gates yet but they hadn't. I will be surprised if they don't soon. The lake is almost to the level they need to be before they open the gates. The bad thing is when they do it usually floods the people down the way from the dam. They have prepared for it this time though from what the news says. We had another T-storm tonight and it rained great guns so oh well. I will be glad when we have more than just one day without rain.
