I don't know if I need them or if they're a crutch I like to have. I do know I'm more emotional, those closest to me often said I was placid. I also notice I think out loud more often than I would like to. Otherwise again I feel like it's more of a crutch a way to avoid dealing with my true feelings and emotions.

I've been off them the better part of 2 years.

Maybe they are a crutch.

But then if you broke you leg and needed a crutch you'd use one. Nothing wrong with that.

Are meds a way of avoiding your true emotions. Maybe. But if these emotions are painful why not avoid them?

Is aspirin a way of avoiding the reality of a headache. Yeah. So what. Why suffer if you don't have to?

The question is;

Is your life better, easier on meds or not?

Hard to say. But that is a good point. I will be more receptive. They weren't helping me at this point, but i know they can. I need a doc willing to provide insight rather than look at previous methods and retry what hasn't worked.
