I have been trying different meds for 15 years, and my husband is still an A hole
![]() The rheumatologist put me on Cymbalta 60 mg to help the pain of arthritis and I agreed because I told him about my severe depression over bad marriage, but I am in a lot of physical pain and emotional pain. So, that's it. I'm getting off this roller coaster. I am only going to take my cholesterol pill and allergy pill and wean off the rest right now.

I don't think meds will make your husband not an A hole........lol.
The key is to wheen off slowly like you said.

Hello TishaBuv: I'm no longer on antidepressants. I've tried a few over the years, alone & in combination with other psych med's. They just don't do much good & I can't afford them. The last AD I was on was Cymbalta. For me, it was the best of the lot. I don't have any plans to go back on psych med's. But if I did, Cymbalta would be at the top of my list... except that it is expensive... even in it's generic variety...

I would suggest natural sunlight for depression and arithis/joint pain. The process of creating vit D3 (added to milk or in vit D3 pills) also creates molecules of vit D1 and vit D2 (these are quickly used up inside your body and these ones are not stable like vit D3 and these ones lacking in daily life cause a deficiency that affects other health conditions) Sunlight +skin and yes elbows and ankles will make all the types of vit D you will need (tummy showing bikinis not required hahaha)
It is these D1 and D2 molecules that can be used by your body to help you. Excessive sunbathing is not required but an hour of full spectrum daylight every day can make a huge difference. Some people use a reptile "healthy sun" lamp to supplement if it is winter or they work under florescent/indescanent lighting all day long (sorry I can't spell "normal lights" with less spectrum of wavelengths than sunlight). Your husband being an *** may improve if he notices your new sunlight+ skin appreciation selfcare meditation sunbath.... have lunch on the porch, read in a lounge chair in the backyard or "tan your hide" with a reptile lamp... it may help him to eventually join you in the sunlight as low levels of vit D affect mood also.
