Been on it for 10 years. Take 300mg because I'm in the birth control pill. Went down to 150mg with my former psych then went into crisis when I found out my partner had lied to me about filing for divorce and went back up to 300mg. Then my drug plan switched me to generic birth control and now things are out of control. I think I need to lower my dose of Lamictal again but I do not know.
Anyone gone off it?
I know I can not go off it without my nurse practitioner so I have to wait until Tuesday .
Going to email my doctor with of today's symptoms soon.
Wow!

Was on it once but not by choice. Didn't really work for me. Hope you hear from your nurse practitioner soon!

I successfully got off lamictal. I don't think I had any serious adverse reactions beyond a 2-3 day period of typical psychotropic med withdrawals.

It was making me very ill and suppressing my bone marrow. Nasty little drug. Helpful for some and may work initially, but I think the consequences on your body are hefty. (or my body, rather).

How many milligrams and how long were you on it and how long to go off it?
