I started working full time in a fast paced stressful environment and I'm concerned the side effects are affecting my job performance or my sleep schedule. I take it for complex ptsd. My current health care providers have said it's continuing to help me. I am trying to go back to my original psych doc to get off it.

I'm not sure if it was 10 years, but I did go off of it after a number of years. It was working for me, but my primary care doc thought some neurological symptoms I was having was due to it.

You shouldn't go off Lamictal cold turkey, as this can cause seizures according to my pdoc (I'm on it). Definitely get with your prescriber and work out a plan to wean off it.
