I've been taking SSRI meds for 1 month, and I already wanted to stop. Actually I've stopped seeing the therapist too, since the school has finished I want to try and see how I feel on my own for a while. The psychiatrist told me to take instead of 2, 1 pill per day for 10 days and half for other 10 days.
I don't really know why but I wanted to stop fast, so I took 1 pill for 3 days and half pill for other 3 days. Sometimes I feel a little dizziness, and the thought that it would affect me forever scares me.. it's just dizziness, but I wanted to be sure it will stop..

Hello harmfulleh: Well... it's been a couple of days since you posted this. Hopefully you're doing better already. I can't tell you definitively if your dizziness will go away or not. What I can say is that, over the years, I've taken myself off of SSRI's multiple times & not had any long-lasting effects. Especially given the fact that you were only on them for a month, I would not think it would be a problem for you. I'm certainly no expert though. So, if you continue to have problems, please see you prescribing physician.
