Hello. I have been misdiagnosed and was given Invega sustenna injection. Now I want to stop it. How to stop it? How did you stop it? Did you taper? If so how exactly and with what dosages?
I have heard that some doctors say that you can stop taking it without tapering as it tapers itself as it has a very long half life. Did someone try that?

Hi nody. Welcome to Psych Central. I am sorry you are having questions about tapering off Invega.

The only sound advice I have ever heard is to contact the prescribing doctor and ask them for a recommended course of removal from Invega and its advisability.
