Hi everyone, I decided to go off lamictal for the 2nd time in the interest of a career path that has a psych evaluation on it. I want to be as free and clear of mental health involvement as I can be. It’s the second time I have gone off lamictal. My psych has no problem with me going off medication and I have to call him for a follow up appointment this month. Does anyone else who’s had a dx of bipolar or ptsd have experience going off lamictal with a psych?

(I’ve been off it for two weeks, to clarify).

Hi Leomama,

I don't know anything about Lamictal unfortunately, but I do want to wish you good luck with whatever your psych and you decide to try.
