Hi, I'm new on here, this is my very first post, I'm a little nervous. I decided to join because I lost my dad many yrs ago to cancer and With Fathers Day coming up next month , have been feeling very down. I was very close to my dad and its still hard at times to accept he is not here.
Esp Now Because I am having a very tough time with personal stuff, and he is the one who I could go to, ask him about things. I miss him alot and am kinda lost now.

awww(((feelingsad)))))))))))) that made me tear up.
yes i know what you mean about giving them a hug.
I understand about the fathers day card. My kids other grandfather passed on fathersday. My daughter said she would never buy another card. As she still has the one for her grandfather

Its ok to cry btw.....I cryed once in the silly orange juice dept at sams club. It reminded me of my mom. This too shall pass. Its part of greiving.
He can hear you . Keep talking to him. It will help you too.
my thoughts and prayers are with you. Im glad I helped.
I talked to mine every now and then

Dear FeelingSad,

I am very sorry for this loss you feel.

It is very delicate and precious, the memories of those that truly loved us and were such wonderful touchstones.

Like Muffy said, you can speak with him. I carry my Gramps in my heart through many difficult times, and even the happy ones.

It help.

Bless your ever-loving heart.

May people come in your life who will be lovable and huggable, and although it isn't the same, it will be good.

Peace and Compassion,
Night

Thank you nightbird,, that means so much. I know it hasbeen 12 yrs since he passed but it feels like yesterday. Right nowI am having a prob in my personal life that is very hard emotionally on me , I knowI can talk to a close friend if i need to , but its not the same, I was A Daddys girl all the way.As Fathers Day gets closer , I dread looking at the calendar so much, I wish It could be June 22nd already, Can't imagine how hard it will be that day.
