I don't grieve his passing. I grieve the waste of such a tremedous talent a long time ago.

I agree - he had tremendous talent. I feel sad that he seemed so troubled and I hope he's in peace now. It proves that even though a person can seem to have everything, it doesn't guarantee happiness. I felt bad that some made fun of him. but to me I will always remember him when he was at the TOP. Thanks for your post.

I have to say, what a misleading title. I don't understand why you wouldn't grieve the passing of human life, but would grieve the "passing of talent". Like or dislike his life, he is unarguably the most influencial person in the history of music since Elvis and The Beatles. He didn't waste his talent and we don't have the right to judge whether he wasted his life or not. Good or bad, his family is still grieving the loss of a son, brother, uncle, cousin, father.

I misread the first post - I thought it said "I grieve his passing" not the other way around. I DO feel very sad that he passed. I wanted to edit my first post but couldn't. I agree it's not cool. What if he was innocent. What if. Just disregard my first response please.

I wrote my first response right after hearing about his death and I was upset so my eyes just thought it said "I grieve his passing." I felt really embarassed that I put "I agree". Sorry it was an accident.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
