i buried my father, a 20 yr marine, on weds. he was a better marine than he was father and maybe that's why i'm focusing so much on his career? he earned many awards, ribbons and medals. he has five medals from viet nam alone, including two purple hearts. he also attained a good conduct medal with stars. he was a fine marine. for some reason i want to shout that to the world. if he failed at much else, he more than succeeded as a marine.
that's all i have to say right now. i may have to say more later. i dunno. thanks for reading. kd

KD, that must be very hard for you to think about. I'm sorry that his career took precendence, but what a wonderful service to his country. I'm glad to see that you can find some comfort in that fact.

Perhaps he lived in a different world even while he was here. ((kimmydawn))
