This is something one of my alters wrote a long time ago. I'm not sure of the circumstances surrounding the event that made him write. I wanted to share because it offers different ways of finding the peace with our losses. You can replace "brother" with whatever is appropriate in your circumstance. I love you all and I never have the right words when talking to those grieving but I want you to all know that I'm here for you guys, day or night. If I'm not online PM's can reach me and I'll read them first thing every time I come online. <3

When the world goes round
I find myself still missing you.
How do I find the words to say
Good bye ?

I wrote it on a balloon and sent it to the stars,
Praying that some how it would be enough,
That somehow it would reach you.
Good bye.

I wrote the words in the sand
and watched the tide come in
sweeping my thoughts to your soul.
Good bye.

I looked up in the twilight sky
The moon was full
The man up there smiled and I knew
Good bye.

When the seasons change
and I think of you
tear drops fall from my eyes
Good bye

Good bye my hero
my brother I love you
How can I ever say
Good bye ?
